Savannah Bryant MA, LCMHCA, NCC
As a counselor, I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, OCD, perfectionism, high-achieving mindsets, boundary challenges, complex family systems, and major life transitions. Whether you're four years old or in midlife, my goal is to provide a safe, affirming space where you can better understand the patterns shaping your experiences and relationships.
My approach is rooted in attachment theory and informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I also provide Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), an evidence-based treatment for OCD, helping clients learn to respond to intrusive thoughts with greater confidence and freedom. Together, we explore how early relationships, thought patterns, and behaviors influence your present life while building practical tools for meaningful, lasting change.
I’m especially passionate about supporting clients through seasons of transition: parenting, relationships, career shifts, grief, and everyday stress, and helping them reconnect with ways of living that truly serve them. With younger clients, I incorporate directive play therapy to support developmentally appropriate growth and healing.
I am also deeply committed to working with couples. With Level Two Training in the Gottman Method, I help partners feel more seen, heard, and understood while navigating conflict and strengthening emotional connection. I bring a warm, gentle, and often humorous presence that allows for honest exploration without judgment.
My background as an educator, along with graduate training in special education and years of ministry experience, has given me a deep appreciation for each person’s unique story. These experiences continue to shape my work and help me meet clients right where they are.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. I am also a National Certified Counselor through the National Board for Certified Counselors.
I believe meaningful growth and change are possible. It takes courage to pursue something different, for yourself or your family, and I consider it a privilege to walk alongside you as you take those next steps.
