Savannah Bryant MA, LCMHCA, NCC
As a counselor, I specialize in working with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, perfectionism, high-achieving mindsets, boundary challenges, complex family systems, and major life transitions. Whether you're four years old or in midlife, my aim is to provide a safe, affirming space where you can explore the patterns that shape your experiences and relationships.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in attachment theory and guided by cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), helping clients deepen their understanding of how early relationships, thoughts, and behaviors influence their current lives. I am especialy passionate about supporting people through the many seasons of change—parenting, relationships, career shifts, grief, and everyday stress—and helping them rediscover ways of being that genuinely serve their needs. For younger clients, I draw from extensive experience using play therapy as a developmentaly appropriate and effective tool for growth and healing.
I am deeply committed to the important work of serving couples, using my Level Two Training in the Gottman Method to help partners feel more deeply seen, heard, and understood by each other. Whether we're unpacking conflict patterns or building emotional intimacy, I bring a warm, gentle, and often humorous presence that alows for honest exploration without judgment.
My background as an educator, with graduate training in special education, along with years spent serving in ministry settings, has equipped me with a deep appreciation for the complexity and uniqueness of each person's story. These experiences continue to inform my clinical work and help me meet clients exactly where they are.
I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from Appalachian State University. Additionaly, I have earned recognition from the National Board for Certified Counselors as a National Certified Counselor.
I believe that growth and change are truly possible for you. It takes courage to dream about and step forward in making a change to desire something better, whether for yourself or your family. Healing happens through trust, honesty, and support and I consider it a great privilege to meet you in this part of your story and empower you to take action to pursue your next right thing.
