Max Eckerson MA, LCMHCA
I have devoted my practice to helping adults move from overwhelm to hope. Over the years I have walked alongside people carrying anxiety, depression, persistent pain, and the heavy heartache that follows unresolved loss and unmet needs. I have witnessed how childhood wounds, emotional or narcissistic abuse, and even spiritual betrayals by trusted leaders can quietly shape someone’s worldview and daily experience, and I am committed to helping you recognize and release burdens you may have carried for years without knowing their full impact.

In our work together I blend evidence-based approaches—Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, attachment-informed work, Gestalt techniques such as the empty-chair, and mindfulness—into a trauma-sensitive, strengths-based process tailored to your needs. I also welcome the integration of faith when requested. I support men and women in building communication and listening skills, managing anger, addressing pornography addiction, tolerating distress, and navigating the complex roles of being a parent, partner, supervisor, or teammate. I also have a focus to help survivors of narcissistic, emotional, and spiritual abuse to process trauma, rebuild trust, and reclaim hope.

You will find a warm, collaborative, and safe space where your story is heard without judgment. I will walk beside you—providing practical skills, thoughtful processing, and steady support—so you can uncover the resilience already within your story and move toward healing, restoration, and renewed purpose. If you are ready for growth and change, I would be honored to join you on this journey.
