Elaine Berton MA, LCMHCA, NCC
Sometimes life gets hard. Maybe in the past you’ve felt like you had it all together, but for whatever reason, you are feeling a bit lost, and a bit unlike yourself. You’ve been trying to find your way to a feeling of normalcy, but you can’t seem to get there on your own. You want to talk to someone, but you aren’t sure if your friends or family would quite understand or be able to help.
This is where I come in! I’m Elaine, and I specialize in helping teens and young adults find their way through tough times, life transitions, moments of questioning, and ultimately, to the best and most authentic version of themselves. I listen without judgement, and I provide a safe, warm, and loving environment where you can give voice to what is troubling you, without fear of repercussions.
Whether you are experiencing stress and anxiety, depression, or just generally questioning, “what am I doing with my life?!?,” I am here to guide and support you unconditionally. Together, we will work to identify what is bothering you, what feels good to you, and how we can create a life that feels more in alignment with who you are and what you want your life to look like. I can’t wait to meet you and join you on your journey.
*As a former school counselor, I can also offer academic, college, & career counseling.
