We all have times in our lives when we feel overwhelmed, out of control, and without a clear path. For some, these feelings are a result of years of trauma. For others, day to day stressors can feel like a weight that just gets heavier and heavier.
Everyone’s story is important and meaningful. Everyone deserves to be heard and accepted just as they are. My aim is to be a safe, compassionate, nonjudgmental space, where clients can work towards whatever goals bring them to a greater place of peace and fulfillment.
First and foremost, I work from a Person Centered Treatment approach that recognizes each client’s story as unique and in need of personalized attention. Additionally, I utilize therapeutic techniques from the following treatment modalities: CBT, DBT, IFS, MI, Trauma Focused, and Solution Focused. I have worked with a wide variety of issues, but many of my clients have experienced trauma, depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, life transition difficulties, career changes, or postpartum mood disorders.
