"Welcome! I know that searching for a therapist can bring about a mixture of emotions. You may feel overwhelmed and nervous not knowing what to expect, or you may feel eager to begin. Either way, it’s a brave step and I'm glad that I can be here to support you. I work with individuals, 18 and up on an individual basis, who may be struggling with life transitions, anxious thought patterns, self-criticism, effective communication, and stress management. Pulling from a person-centered approach, I like blending techniques based on individualized needs so we can discuss and explore where you currently are in life.
I enjoy incorporating mindfulness interventions and movement to strive for a holistic approach to life and wellness. Along with offering telehealth and in-person visits, I also offer walk-and-talk sessions so we can move outside and get fresh air. Whatever our sessions look like, I strive to create a warm and welcoming environment.
We’re all human. It’s time to take a deep breath and allow yourself to feel and work through the daunting and confusing emotions that are present in your life. I thoroughly enjoy having an open and collaborative relationship so you can learn new skills to find a more balanced lifestyle."
I'm currently offering a discounted rate for teachers. I’ve had experience in the classroom and my mom was a teacher for many years.
