Lindsay Mullikin MEd, LCMHCA
:Welcome! I know that searching for a therapist can bring about a mixture of emotions. You may feel overwhelmed and nervous not knowing what to expect, or you may feel eager to begin. Either way, it’s a brave step and I'm glad that I can be here to support you. I work with individuals 18 and up who may be struggling with life transitions, anxious thought patterns, self-criticism, communication skills, and stress management. Examples of presenting issues include, but are not limited to: transitioning back to the post-Covid world, work/life balance, changes in roles and expectations, moving from college to “adulthood”.
I pull from a person-centered approach, but I like blending techniques based on individualized needs so I can hear your story and we can explore where you currently are in life and where you would like to be. I enjoy incorporating mindfulness interventions and movement to strive for a holistic approach to life and wellness.
Along with offering telehealth and in-person visits, I also offer walk-and-talk sessions so we can move outside and get fresh air.
We’re all human. It’s time to take a deep breath and allow yourself to feel and work through the daunting and confusing emotions that are present in your life. - I'm currently offering a discounted rate for teachers. If you're interested, please reach out to me.
