Melissa Bartlett, MA LCMHCA, NCC
Being a young adult comes with many challenges that can make the balancing act of life feel overwhelming. While finding the right path may be difficult, I am dedicated to helping clients navigate uncharted territories and unfamiliar emotions. My goal is to help adolescents and young adults, ages 12 to 24 but will consider clients of any age on a case-by-case basis, discover their natural ability to confront difficult stages of life, such as anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, self-harm, and stress management. In addition to developing coping skills for life’s general stressors, I provide LGBTQ+ affirming care.

Having a broad approach allows me the freedom to mix and match techniques and theories, offering the opportunity to hone in on what works best for each individual. This is done by encouraging and integrating the whole person:mind, body, and soul. With a somatic approach, relief can be found in releasing physically stored trauma and incorporating mindfulness.

I understand the importance of finding a collaborative and therapeutic outlet that fosters growth. I am committed to being a source of empathy, compassion, and self-awareness, all while ensuring the client’s voice is heard and encouraged when it is hard for them to speak. I’m grateful for and look forward to opportunities to lend light to those feeling lost.
